UB-20 (1930)
The passenger cabin had large reclining chairs and berths for night flying in addition to a lavatory, a galley, and baggage, mail and radio equipment compartments. In accordance with normal Burnelli practice, the engines were accessible in flight, and the aircraft had good single-engine performance which enabled it to maintain flight on one engine with a full load. The UB-20 once carried a car beneath thefuselage when the Sun Oil Company contracted Burnelli to transport a Ford under the aircraft for publicity purposes.
